As much as I love the Basterds, and I do so love the Basterds, I'm not quite sure they can take down the Empire. Both in my Top 20 though.

Both two great examples of ensemble casting. Empire.

Great, riveting stories. The Basterds is a perfectly constructed film, but The Empire just appeals to anyone (even if you don't apply nostalgia to the mix).
Both top 10, but The Basterds win.

Basterds is not better by any means. However, one can like it more yes. Empire is better, that's a fact and it easily wins here. That said, both top 20 films

However, Darth Vader and Hans Landa are both incredible villains, both James Earl Jones and Christoph Waltz giving incredible performances
