District 9 is frickin' awesome, but I have to go with Empire Strikes back here.
I'm one of the few who thinks District 9 is massively overrated. Worst movie evar? No. Pretty freakin' bad? Yes. But anyways, Empire wins.

this is a little tough. I mean i was a fan of District 9 when i saw it but, i mean its freakin STAR WARS! And my favorite Star wars going up against a pretty good alien movie. No one can beat the Battle scene on The ice planet Hoth at the beginning. Star wars 5 wins

The Empire Strikes Back... District 9 is a great film, but Star Wars is light years ahead of it.
Empire crushes District 9. I'm one of the few that really did not care for that one.
JohnMason: I sure am, and I'm proud of that. Though it seems that more and more people question Blomkamp as a director after Elysium and especially Chappie.
