Two of the greatest science fiction movies of all time, but in the end, I had to give the nod to ALIENS. I'd take T2 over both of them, though. Well, I think. God, I hope I don't have that choice come up.

T2 would be a different story entirely, but Aliens quite easily kicks the original Terminator's @$$.

Sorry guys, but for originality of story alone I would have to go with killer Ahnold despite Aliens being my favorite movie in that particular franchise. I haven't really enjoyed any of the followup Terminator flicks, but the first one remains righteous. :)

James Cameron does his best work with sequels, and this is no exception. If it were Terminator 2: Judgment Day, it'd be close. It'd still go to Aliens, but at least it'd be a decision that'd leave me somewhat conflicted. In this case, I don't hesitate, not for a second. Aliens.

Aliens is great in effects and story, but The Terminator is much more than great, its a damn Robot, who is send back in time to kill the mother of a not even born Resistance leader, and hey, by the way, the father of the child is send back in time,too. It's a epic story, witch a great Ost, and a damn great Schwarzenegger in his best role ever

Just on memorable quotes alone Terminator destroys Aliens... nevermind that it has a stronger plot, deeper characters, a more original concept, better acting...

For sheer scale of concept, Aliens has to win. I still feel torn about it though.

These Two films are James Cameron's Best. I'm going with Aliens because it is very well paced and acted very well. This is James Cameron's best film.
Aliens. The Terminator is crap.
Terminator 2 > Aliens > The Terminator > Alien

Hmm, both are good, but not as good as other films in their respective franchises. I enjoy Aliens more, but Terminator was a sign of better things to come whereas Aliens wrote the franchise into a corner. However, for all the things I have against Aliens and what it did to the franchise, I'd rather watch it right now than Terminator, so Aliens wins.

Both amazing but this is how I view Cameron's best movies T2>>>Aliens>>>Terminator despite loving all The suspense in Terminator for me never gets old, I just love it and I think its amazing but Aliens is the superior in terms of story telling and supporting characters as well as acting. I mean, Arnie's Terminator is to this day an iconic character and the stuff was awesome but Aliens takes the victory here!

Had it been Aliens Vs T2 or Alien Vs Terminator then absolutely Aliens would win but not in this matchup. Aliens is a dumb blaster & its an insult to call it sci-fi. The deeply dark & unpleasant Terminator wins this easily.

Aliens beats the original Terminator for suspense, acting, visuals and characters but Terminator is still amazing...I'd give the nod to Aliens but both are amazing achievements by a once amazing director by the name of James Cameron
