The Search for Spock was a good, solid sequel to The Wrath of Khan. But The Wrath of Khan was better.

"The Wrath of Khan" is great because of Ricardo Montalbon's iconic performance as Khan, and for telling a compelling story of the "Trek" triumvirate (Kirk, Spock & Bones). "The Search for Spock" is great because it captures that come-together spirit of the original series. Ultimately, I'm going with "Khan," but it's a lot closer for me than it is for most fans.

"Wrath of Khan" is the best of all the ST movies; none of the subsequent films measure up (although "search for spock" is better than most of them)

Gotta be Khan, though I do love Search for Spock as well.
