Zodiac is a masterpiece. The Aviator tried to be.

Going with Zodiac. But I diisagree with aqualeo, the Aviator IS a masterpiece. It's the best Scorsese film of its decade.

Both are near masterpieces. Zodiac is slightly more entertaining though. I like thrillers more than dramas.

Two of my favorite directors going head to head. I personally believe that Zodiac is Fincher's most underrated and The Aviator is Scorsese's most underrated. I would actually argue that both are masterpieces, but I'm going with The Aviator. DiCaprio's performance is masterful.
