The sequel was disappointing; it's basically Rocky 4. Badass final scene though.

I agree. The action scenes weren't even as exhilarating as in the original and the story was weaker in the sequel.

I actually prefer Ip Man 2. Both are very entertaining, but the Rocky 4 feel that Ip Man 2 has takes it over the top. I loves the table fighting scene. The story might feel a little childish, but it delivers for me on so many levels.

Ip Man is easily the best Hong Kong movie ever made
