Two very good and very different Coen Brothers films. While I like Blood Simple for being such a suspenseful thriller, I have to go with O Brother for having such a memorable story and great humor.

Coens! O Brother is on another level of sophistication, but Blood Simple was a very tense, smart debut.
O Brother...simply for the soundtrack....

Blood Simple mostly because this is the Cohen's in their early days and would set the tone for the kind of films they would make in future.
Blood Simple was so damn clever.
