MacGruber vs. Deadpool

For how played out Deadpool has come to be as a comic character, straining the limits of the term "overexposure" and in spite of how much I adore Will Forte's comedic mind and his ability to make his characters genuinely likable, MacGruber pushes the limits of how much affection you can have with a deliberately bad concept. I really wanted to admit that I was so much better than liking Deadpool given how much praise has come to be heaped upon it, but the movie didn't do anything at all to make me dislike it and even though the first act was a little thin, it was just a completely enjoyable cinematic experience. I'm sure I will quickly tire of its praises being oversung from the highest mountaintops, but I do know it's better than MacGruber.
