MacGruber vs. Zombieland

I'm not sure about the celery, but MacGruber was mostly pretty funny. I think that it might've been funnier if he got the third throat rip (or "Turkey") after Kilmer cut his hair, but no biggie. Zombieland is not as good, even though I enjoy Woody Harrelson's work generally. I didn't care for Jesse Eisenberg's character at all, and his narration was irritating. I prefer non-comedy zombie movies. I do not believe that zombies should be funny deliberately. They are too easy to make fun of, and so the humor is cheap.

Although I dig MacGruber's exquisite taste in music and amazing fashion sense, too many of the jokes in his movie fall flat. Zombieland is a much, much better film. Hell, Zombieland might be the best zombie movie I've ever seen (so far, anyway).
