Now this is a good matchup, for sure. I think I probably got even more of a rush in Cloverfield than I did Prometheus, so it's taking the win for me.
Prometheus. I liked Cloverfield's found footage aspect, but Prometheus was just crazy.
Prometheus. And I loved Cloverfield. Prometheus might never be Alien, but it was a fantastic movie in it's own right...

"Prometheus" was definitely more memorable. I'm not a big fan of the "Found Footage" genre,but "Cloverfield" is a very welcome exception on the genre. It deserves a honorable mention.
Prometheus for me, but I found Cloverfield to be very entertaining too.

Cloverfield was a fun diversion, but aside from its found footage angle, it's a monster-destroys-city movie. Prometheus was something I hadn't seen before, and its images linger much longer.

Even though Cloverfield is my 2nd favorite found footage film (#1 is Chronicle), I enjoyed Prometheus more

I liked both films, but Cloverfield came across as the movie that gave me more bang for the buck.
