Let me preface this by saying that 3 Ghibli movies, two of which are directed by Miyazaki, are in my top 20. Now that I've established my bona fides as a Ghibli lover, allow me to express the truth that not all Ghibli movies, nor even all of the Miyazaki-helmed ones, are good. These are two that are not good. Howl's Moving Castle is certainly the better of the two, though.

I dont have any big problems with Howls but The cats returns is one of the weakest Ghibi films there is ....and the ending is so rushed and sloppy and overall disappointing
