The Company of Wolves seemed quite provocative to me when I was about 9. I probably didn't understand all that much of it, but I understood that Sarah Patterson was hot. Now, all grown up and geniusness like like, I get that it's not really a coming of age film at all. Nope, it's all lolicon exploitation. I guess it's still an okay watch, but I do wonder what young Ms Patterson looks like now. No-one does weird and sexy like the Japanese though. DCS is a pretty tame effort by their standards (not that it tries to be fucked up), but it's marginally more enjoyable than The Company of Wolves.
