The Godfather vs. The Conversation

The Conversation is slow, boring, and uneventful. There was a good movie in there somewhere, but Francis Ford Coppola couldn't quite bring it out. He hit a grand slam with The Godfather, though, so all is eternally forgiven.

I really liked The Conversation, but its slow pacing at times did prevent me from loving it like a masterpiece. The Godfather on the other hand is just perfect from start to finish.

I really enjoyed The Conversation on my second and third viewings. There's no way it's beating out The Godfather, though.

Yeah, The Godfather is superior.

It's The Godfather....

The Conversation, because the audio clip that Gene Hackman's character listens to is more clearly audible than Marlon Brando's annoying mumbling.
