Popular uprisings against brutal regimes and overwhelming military force. Braveheart is inspiring, I always shed a little tear as Catherine McCormick moves through the crowd gathered to witness the execution just before the final 'FRREEEEEEDDUUUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!!!' However, it pales when comparted to a mutiny over rotten meat, and a well drilled rifle-bearing garrison marching down the steps towards the downtrodden who dared to stand-up to them. Brosonets Potyemkin for me.

Boring and outdated, The Battleship Potemkin may be the most overpraised film in history. Give me the dynamic Braveheart every time.
