Although Richard Parker could probably defeat Simba in a fight, I'm still going to have to say Lion King is the better movie.

The Lion King is of course highly enjoyable, but for me, Life of Pi was on a completely different level. Plus it stuck to its message, however irksome people may have found it, whereas Lion King falls at the wayside towards the end. So Life of Pi wins.

Lions and tigers in films, oh my...
Lion King is in my Top 20. After a fourth viewing of Life of Pi, I'm finally ready to side with the tiger on this one.
