A Better Tomorrow vs. Duel

The significance of these two movies is certainly not lost on me. Woo showed the world what he was all about with A Better Tomorrow and Spielberg hinted at the thrill rides he'd be putting out later on with Duel. Duel's underrated, and I mean WAAAAAY underrated. "But Tory, it's just a dick-measuring contest on a massive scale" you might say. And you would be right. But it's a FUN dick-measuring contest. But still, fun as Duel may be, A Better Tomorrow has three things I really, really love: themes I believe in and can relate to, some absolutely insane shootouts, and Chow Yun-Fat. You throw that shit in a blender and you've got a winner.
