Oh christ, two of the most overrated, disappointing films I have seen in the last five years. While I have little to no love for it, I will give credit to Scott Pilgrim for sticking to its routes and never deviating from its course, always giving 100%, even if that 100% was mostly lost on me. Looper could have been a much better film were it not for a host of bland, miscast performances, poor writing, boring action, a wasted set-up and pretty much the entire second act from the moment JGL walks onto the farm. So consider this the rare occasion where Scott Pilgrim actually wins something.
I loved both, Looper gets my vote.

Looper was amazing. Scott Pilgrim is on a whole other level though, that's how much I love it.
I gotta go Looper. Fan of both.
