Is this really a trick question? Scott Pilgrim hands down. While "Up" was a great movie it seemed to me to be a little depressing. You have this old man who at the beginning of the movie was in love with this girl and they had this dream of going off to this far away place. However, ever time they tried to save up to go they had to use their money for something else. By the end of the credits she is dead and he is on his own. Then you have this boy whose father is never there for him. All in all is has a lot of sad moments and if it wasn't for the dog and the giant bird "Up" would be a very depressing movie. As for "Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World" I love every part of that movie from the cast to the music to the amazing special effects. I never read any of the comics before seeing it, so I saw it with fresh eyes. It blew my mind the whole way threw. Also while watching it I was thinking in my mind, "Wow I can relate to Scott in so many ways." hahaha. So in the end they are both good movies, but Scott Pilgrim is definietly the better of the two.

Both superb pictures, but I think "Up" works a little bit better.
