Two insane villains hunting their prey down like animals. OK. There's only winner here (step forward Mr. Mitchum - you're great), but the Most Dangerous Game has much to recommend it. Serial style action, a remote island, shipwrecking, an arch vililain in a well appointed castle, a penchant for hunting... Fantastic. Still, Night of the Hunter takes it.

Eh, I didn't care for The Most Dangerous Game. The Night of the Hunter definitely has a lot more going for it.
