Eh, Jackie Brown is a pretty good movie that could've been great if the damn thing had not gone on FOREVER. The Fighter had a lot more story to tell, yet did so in a lot less time. For that, David O. Russell is a winner here.
Jackie Brown because if you take away Bale and Leo's titanic performances, The Fighter is fairly mediocre.

I really enjoy Jackie Brown but The Fighter wins pretty easily.
