Not even close. O' Brother Where Art Thou is a great comedy. Saw II is slasher stupidity that only got stupider as the series went on. Nothing more to be said.

Saw II is garbage but i'll still take it over most things the Coens have done. O Brother Where Art Thou is especially irritating.
As far as Saw films go, Saw II is not that bad. Certainly not as good as the first film (although it does share most of the problems of the first film, and that was never a great film to begin with), but also not nearly as bad as the other sequels. O Brother Where Art Thou is not in the top tier of Coen films for me, but even a not so great Coen film is still technically a pretty great film (if thst makes sense). O Brother for the win.
