Both very funny, on a first viewing, and the lead performances ARE the films. I would have to go with Ventura due purely to nostalgia.

Two of my favorite comedies. And both have sequels that I disavow all knowledge of. I'm going with Austin Powers, which I think has a better script. Without Carrey Ace Ventura would have been brutal; without Myers' performances Powers would still have worked.
