Contrary to popular wisdom, Dick Tracy is actually a pretty good film. Even Madonna is tolerable in it. National Treasure is fun, too, so this is a tough one for me. Ummm...National Treasure.

Madonna just seemed woefully out of place in Dick Tracy. That was just bad casting (yeah, I know Warren Beatty was boning her at the time). Her aside, the cast is pretty incredible (Beatty, Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, James Caan). Unfortunately, the film's writing doesn't come close to matching its acting and production values. The story is just shabby, in general. National Treasure requires an awful lot of suspension of disbelief but, if you're willing to go along with it, the movie is a pretty enjoyable adventure. It's an easy winner here...
