Great crime films, but i have to lean towards the Departed.

It's Heat for me, though The Departed is phenomenal.

No pun intended, but HEAT left me cold. It lacks focus and the "cops and robbers" theme feels very tied, unlike THE DEPARTED, which somehow feels fresh.

Heat. Without a doubt. This is Mann's masterpiece as was Goodfellas isScorsese's. Departed was fun and a slight improvement on Infernal Affairs, would of probably like it a lot more if he waited a few more years before remaking it.

Although Heat in some scenes get a little boring, i prefer it. Heat for the win.

Heat was... missing something. The way the guns are handled is pretty novel, although at the end of the day I don't watch movies to see things done realistically. Otherwise it just felt kinda empty and formulaic. The Departed is okayish.

Heat, although I really liked The Departed.
This is about as close as they come, I'll go with The Departed.

25 and 26 on my list. I just rewatched both of them in the last week and I would have to say that I slightly prefer The Departed.
