A classic in their respective genres, Matrix wins for groundbreaking achievements, one of which is finding a role suitable for Keanu Reeves.

This is tough as both are solid flicks all around. in the end the Matrix wins though - despite the fact that the sequels dragged the original through the mud, gave it a wedgie and hung it on a flag pole outside the school.

Heat is one of only about a dozen movies that I would rather watch than The Matrix.

Another tough one. The Matrix was more groundbreaking, but when I ask which I'd be mor eexcited to stumble onto on TV, the answer is: Heat.

Hmm. The Matrix is cool but Heat is infinitely cooler, not to mention the stellar cast that includes De Niro, Pacino, Sizemore, Voight and Kilmer.
Heat it is.....my favorite heist movie ever....
