When Craven was making the Last House on the Left, he thought it was so gruesome it needed some comedy to relief the audience, so he added the slapstick cops. Aldo Lado apparently did not think so with his Italian rip-off Night Train Murders (aka The New House on the Left, aka Last Stop on the Night Train). It's vile, disgusting, gruesome, shocking, with a throwaway line that the society, we, are responsible for violent people, so that the film wouldn't be just sadistic exploitation, there is a sociological message in it. Yeah, sure. Anyway, if you wan to watch something completely different for Christmas (it takes place during Christmas!), and puke out your Christmas dinner, here's a movie for you!
