Drowning by Numbers is kind of pretentious, I guess, like all Greenaway flicks. But it's probably my favorite that I've watched recently (I've seen a few of his other films years ago, and The Cook gets on my nerves as much as it entertains). It's quirky and out there enough to keep my attention, and I like Greenaway's style generally. Fish Tank doesn't stand out as much, even though it's one of the better teen-with-attitude movies I can recall. Drowning by Numbers has more to offer for repeat viewings, I figure.
