One word "KHAAAAAAAAAAAN!"

I hope that "The Fountain" becomes one of those movies that doesn't get the respect it deserves until later

Dude that's harsh. It is a fantastic movie and Jackman was incredible. It should get its recognition now and hold onto it for quite some time.

The Fountain. I'm not a Star Trek fan (but the first movie is really great!). Wrath of Khan is cheesy and sometimes laughable. Sorry, Trekkies : )

Star Trek II, by a mile. It's infinitely rewatchable, and less muddled.

Wrath of Khan is good, but the depth shown in The Fountain pushes it into a different realm.

Although THE FOUNTAIN is (I think) intended as an art film, KHAN has a much better screenplay, directing and acting. And as an effects film -- KHAN still wins. There's really nothing going for THE FOUNTAIN other than a very pretentious storyline that failed to make an sense or arrive at anything original to say. Hell, KHAN had a more emotional climax, too, so I really don't feel this is a close contest...
