I have to disagree with you, maiden666. For me nothing will ever beat the Philosopher's Stone. Just its authentic looks, faithfullness towards the book, and the wonderful score by John Williams wins me over completely. Though I will say the kids' acting skills got way better in the later films.

the end was vastly over-hyped, since I myself prefer DH-1, but Philosophers stone had a bit too much fin with itself.

DH Part 2 is the best of the series in my opinion- Sorcerer's stone does not come close.

Sorcerers Stone. It is one of my fave childhood films.
