Two Sci-Fi films that defined the decade, one a horror the other war. My vote goes Invasion but I hope we can get some discussion going on this one.

Absolutely love both of these gems. Honestly, they're almost dead even in my opinion. For now, I giving the edge to TDTESS. Certainly a tough call though.

Two terrific sci-fi films that for me are both on the scale of > 2001. Body Snatchers might be one of the all-time best horror films because the premise is scary as hell. You can't go to sleep. Day the Earth Stood Still though is such a great look at humanity as well as ahead of it's time as far as technology in film. Both are must sees, but Earth Stood Still is better.
