2016 Battle. Lion crushes Patriots Day. I did enjoy both of these True Stories but Lion was pretty crushing.

Lion is like a mystery movie where they give away the answer in the first part then go on as if they didn't. Edge to Patriot's Day for superior characters, editing, and action.

Lion did surprise me. I didn't think I would like it. The action in the second and third act of Patriots Day is paced extremely well. The gun fight on the street might be one of the best gun fights I've ever seen on film. Edge to Patriots Day.
