I am only choosing independence day, because I think it has a more climactic ending, and cooler bad guys. I really think these movies are at a tie though...

I really disliked Iron Man after the first viewing of it, but now the more I think of it, the more it kind of grows on me. I'll hopefully give it a second viewing sometime soon but for now I'm going with the highly entertaining Independence Day.

I certainly enjoyed Independence Day, but it is NOT better than Iron Man.

Iron Man was good, but it can't compete against Independence Day.
