i always gotta compare Bond movies when they randomly show. An average Connery entry vs. an average Moore entry Dr. No in this one.

Connery's second best (FRWL is #1) vs Moore's best (although the Spy Who Loved Me could be too). I'll go with the original.

I love both of these. I give the nod to "Dr. No" because the early 60s has aged better as a setting than has the early 80s. Not really a fan of either Monty Norman's or Bill Conti's scores, but I dig the Jamaican source music in "Dr. No."

I actually really like both of these films, but I prefer the 60s-era spy genre tropes that Dr. No plays with/invents over the 80s veneer of most of Moore's films; strangely I see FYEO as seeming more dated than Dr. No...
