how great life can be vs. how terrible life can be
Taxi Driver just barely. It's a Wonderful Life is great but I can only watch it around Christmas.

It's a Wonderful Life is a classic movie, but it's not a film. And Taxi Driver is a great film.
Odd matchup to say the least. Wonderful Life for me.

always like Taxi Driver more.
Taxi Driver is my favorite Scorsese movie; De Niro was so great. I can relate to Travis and I do think he's one of the greatest characters in cinematic history. But, It's a Wonderful Life...it's a wonderful movie! Y'know, it gave me some hope. A truly special movie to me.
