T2 is definitely an all timer, but The Thing's unique execution absolutely throttles it.

Few movies can stand up to The Thing in a special effects-off. If I give it to The Thing, I acknowledge that it's a purely personal preference.

Both are amazing but T2 by far.
The Thing! A thousand times The Thing. T2 is the least of the first three Terminator films. It's overblown and Edward Furlong is annoying.

The Thing for me, excellent film. But I like both a lot.

I love The Thing but it's not necessarily a movie i would watch over and over again. Terminator 2 is for sure
