Definitely going with T2. Donnie Darko was a bit too gothic for me though still really enjoyable.

Donnie Darko all the way! T2 was great, it is great but DD left me in awe. Now the 14 yo me would have went T2 I think.

Donnie Darko was average, but really? Better than T2? No way. Darko is way too convoluted, and you can't really understand the movie in the first viewing, not without the director's cut, the actor's cut, the producer's cut... and then reading 1,500 books. So fuckin' damn pointless. T2 was way cooler.
