Mel's resume and ability dwarfs Gosling and The Patriot is a FAR FAR better film.
Gosling's performance in Drive tops that of Gibson's in The Patriot, in my opinion. Drive is the easy winner here.
Drive smacks The Patriot...believe that!
If you're an action movie guru and you can't watch anything else but action movies, pick The Patriot (I was one of those like 3 or 4 years ago), but now I love movies for just what they are. Drive wins
