A couple of movies that are striking visually, yet left me feeling not-so-entertained. Not to say I didn't enjoy both films to some extent - there was just something that lessened the overall entertainment value. I was irritated with Un Flic because it wasted Catherine Deneuve, and because there wasn't much to the characters. Days of Heaven has the annoying narration, and the two lead actors don't much appeal to me. Un Flic does have the beautiful blue color scheme going for it, and Days of Heaven has all the lovely wheat. I guess Un Flic barely takes it, since at least the actors are more likable.
