Two of the most striking historical drama films I have seen. Plus, I am quite a big fan of these two directors. Yet, I prefer Dreyer's cinema to Spielberg's, because of all the emotions these silent films are conveying, still today, thanks to the power of editing firstly. So I have to go with La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc, here.
