Damn. ANOTHER Shaw Bros. showdown. I find elements of Mad Monkey Kung Fu to be more enjoyable. 95% of the time, I would rather watch a comedic kung fu movie over a serious one, and that just might be the case here. I know I'm supposed to choose Pole Fighter because it's supposed to be in every serious kung fu fan's top 10, but I think I'll take Mad Monkey's fast pace over Pole Fighter's stone cold seriousness. I'd pick the Venoms over either of these in a heartbeat, though.
It looks like there are two Shaw films with "Monkey Kung Fu" in the title. This one you're commenting on is also known as Stroke of Death. It's not MAD Monkey Kung Fu, right?
Correctamundo. Mad Monkey Kung Fu's a different movie.
