Hey, a couple Peter Lorre movies. I don't know if it's due to the subtitles, but I never much enjoyed M. I'd much rather watch Humphrey Bogart being a badass.

Peter Lorre was a fantastic actor and here are two fine examples of his work. Its the Falcon for me as well.

I've never liked Maltese Falcon as much as the majority of people, because I simply find it impossible to follow. It's M all the way for me.
Peter Lorre in M is as strong an acting performance as I have ever seen in film. It will always be one of the greatest thrillers I have ever seen. The Maltese Falcon is awesome, but it can't compete with M. M is just incredible.

Maltese Falcon i enjoy more and M might be the best thriller ever with Lorre at his best. Throw Casablanca in and we have a movie classic trifecta.
