Both animations are special in their own right. Whilst I was impressed with Monster's Inc., I was bowled over by the extended quality and class of Toy Story 3.

Without question, at least in my eyes, Toy Story 3 is the superior Pixar film. I was never all that impressed with Monsters, Inc.
Toy Story 3. It made everyone get emotional because we grew up with the films. It was the perfect way to end it.
Toy Story 3. I liked Monsters, inc, but that little kid was so annoying...

Wow I think I am the only one out of this group who is going for Monsters, Inc, They were both good but Monsters, Inc is one of my favorite animated movies

I love both! My two favorite Pixar movies are pretty much a tie but the fact that I've seen Monsters Inc more times and haven't got bored of it make it the winner!
Although I've stated that Lotso is kind of a rehash of Pioneer Pete, at least he was a more interesting antagonist than Randall.
Toy Story 3 by a long margin.

Two of Pixars best, but Toy Story 3 IS their best.

Toy Story 3 is awesome, but Monsters Inc. is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Toy Story 3 for me..Definitely more memorable even though its only been out since 2010 whereas MI has been out since 2001. The new characters are so much better such as Lotso, Trixy and all the other toys. The story is far more interesting and more emotional. The dialogue is mainly better (except for some instances where humans talk, I find that awkward) and the directing and execution is a whole lot better. To me, the entire Toy Story trilogy is easily superior to MI (which I still love)

I agree with shane24...TS 3 by a long shot. It's so much more greatr than MI
