It would seem that both of these films were made with relatively no filter on. Amazingly, the brothers Farrelly appear to have had barely enough restraint to put together a well-paced comedy that had more than its fair share of laughs. On the other hand, Crank did succeed in moving at such a frantic pace that I thought my heart was going to give by the end of the movie. Creepy Dwight Yoakam was an added bonus. Hats off to Mary, though.
