I prefer Heat only cause the cat and mouse with De Niro and Pacino. goodfellas declines like somewhere in the middle. Heat has that great shootout!

Pretty simple choice for me. Goodfellas is the all-time greatest, and Heat isn't.

Robert DeNiro was really good on both films. I really enjoy films that are based on true to life stories. I felt Goodfellas was robbed of an Academy Award and that it is one of the best works from Martin S. Heat could have been a classic if it wasn't too long. Though it had an All Star cast, Goodfellas had a better pace, direction, musical score and wardrobe.

Both are spectacular films. I slightly prefer Heat.
