Wow. Obviously GoodFellas is a classic, but I think I almost prefer the epic fantasy story of LOTR. It's been awhile since I've seen either, and I've only seen them each once or twice. I think I have to go with GoodFellas though.

I love Lord Of The Rings,but Goodfellas stuck to me forever. Great performances,Scorcese,and Pesci in top form.

A close matchup. Both films are second best in their genres. Goodfellas is second to Godfather and Return of the King is second to its Fellowship of the Ring. But I have to go with Goodfellas on this one. Just a great, funny gangster classic.

Return of the King. That's right, I said it.
ROTK is more epic while Goodfellas is more classic. Such a quagmire to decide between two greats that couldn't be more different in just about every way. I think I enjoyed the climax and conclusion of the grand fantasy, LOTR more than Goodfellas.
As awesome as ROTK is...if forced, I'm watching Goodfellas.
