Wow. Clint vs Clint and a tough match-up to boot. I think I prefer the western Clint to the tough cop.

Dollars barely hints at the greatness of its two sequels, while Dirty Harry is the best of its own series.

Even the weakest Leone/Eastwood western (and AFOD is not - For A Few Dollars More is) clearly bests Dirty Harry, an okay film made better by Eastwood's performance, but a film that remains entirely too predictable.

The Man With no Name it is. Honestly, I was dissapointed upon watching Dirty Harry. You get the qoute, but besides that the movie doesn't offer that much.

You guys...Dirty Harry is bloody awesome. For a film made in the early seventies, it sure goes balls out. Add a lovely 70s score, Clint Eastwood being awesome like always, a memorable villain (has "Row, row, row your boat" ever been that terrifying?), some quotable lines and great direction, and you got a seventies classic. Dirty Harry is...dirty...tastic...I don't know.
