A very hard decision. Both films are masterpieces but I'll choose TWBB for its pure ambition and originality.

Fellowship triumphs There Will Be Blood. These two films are both considered masterpieces in the eyes of most movie-goers, but I feel that Lord of the Rings is definitely superior to TWBB.

There Will Be Blood is much magnificent...
Both in my top 10 but There Will Be Blood clinches this.

There Will Be Blood wins because of Daniel Day-Lewis and the cinematography. Lord of The Rings is still awesome though.

There Will Be Blood is excellent but I adore Fellowship, definitely the best Rings movie and one of the best movies ever made
