Ex Machina vs. I, Robot

In the realm of A.I. movies, Ex Machina is the Citizen Kane while I, Robot is a cheap Michael Bay flick.

At the risk of embarrassing myself, I shall choose I, Robot. Ex Machina can be a little slow at times.

I really enjoyed Ex Machina but it's not even as good as I, Robot (a great movie, imo) let alone the giants of this genre like Blade Runner and A.I. Artificial Intelligence. With regard to this match-up, Sonny is a far more fascinating creation that evolves into higher consciousness, filled with emotions, dreams and the ethical dilemmas of the human subjectivity; and from his gradual realizations follow more intelligent questions about what it means to be human and, more importantly, what it means to exist as life. In comparison Ava was like a manufactured sociopath.

A robot shall not harm *humanity* > Will you *stay* here?
