The Good, the Bad and the Ugly vs. Rope

That's just not fair! I love them both for what they represent: Rope shows a film doesn't need edits; TGTBATU shows the potential of an epic. Both were pioneering.

Even with its brisk running time, Rope really struggled to hold my interest. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly certainly didn't have that problem; it is one of the most kick-ass movies ever made.

Only recently watched Rope, I enjoyed it but it doesn't come close to the conclusion of the dollars trilogy.

I loved Rope, but Leone's masterpiece is just too much for it to handle.

I'm a big Rope fan but an even bigger GBU fan. Such an epic movie.

Rope. Hands down. One of the most underrated Hitchcock films of all-time.
