War movies matchup. It's a great comedy vs. a great not-comedy. They are both awesome, but I'll go with MASH.

Which is the non-comedy? Each has its comedic elements. And, while making a comedy was not Kubrick's intent with Full Metal Jacket, I found the first half funnier than all of MASH, to be quite honest. For that matter, I liked the first half more than the entirety of MASH. MASH kind of bored me. It's just not for me, I guess.

i don't know. the movies are very different. MASH is funny as hell, and metal jacket is a work of art. now, i've watched full metal jacket a million times and it's still pretty tough to see it. iv'e seen MASH once, and it was so funny, i definatly wanna see it again. so i'll pick the movie that i wanna see right now
I just didn't connect with MASH. The first half of Full Metal Jacket just has the epic feeling to it....I'll go with Kubrick.
